Benefits of Staying with identibase
As an identialert or identifind member, you have the peace of mind knowing that all your pets can be managed under one account at no extra charge. This includes transferring pets from any other database to identibase.
Requesting a Transfer
However, we understand that there may be reasons for transferring your pet's information to another database.
If you still wish to transfer your pet to another database, please follow these steps:
1. Send Us an Email:
- Email us at hello@identibase.co.uk to request the transfer.
- Include the following information in your email:
- Your full name
- Your pet’s microchip number
- Your pet’s name
- The name of the database you wish to transfer to
2. Processing the Transfer:
- Once we receive your request, we will contact your chosen database directly to initiate the transfer.
- The new database should then get in touch with you shortly after.
Important Notes
The microchip can only be transferred to a different database if it is recorded in your keepership. Ensure that your contact information and pet details are up to date to facilitate a smooth transfer process.
We can also only facilitate transfers to other DEFRA approved databases.
